What makes a great volunteer at UTOPIA Washington?

We are looking for people who are truly drawn to working with Queer, Trans and Gender Diverse Pacific Islanders, communities of color, and/or the LGBTQ+ community. We are interested in volunteers who are slow to judge, who can listen intently, and who allow space for people to make their own decisions. Our direct service volunteers are an extension of our direct service staff and are experts in relationship building and encouraging people to live their best lives.
